Most easy way is to take an airport taxi (120 baht), Tuk
Tuk
(60-80 baht) or a red car (little red bus) 40-80 baht (from
airport, train- or busstation) to the east side of the
square of the old city: Thaphae Gate. It takes 10 minutes.
Insist that the driver brings you where you want (sometimes
they will try to bring you to another guesthouse or hotel,
because of the better (?) commission (They tell you then
that the guesthouse you choose is closed!).
