Telephone
Awanahouse restored
The Telephone of Awanahouse was out of order through
a
fire in our street. Some wires are dammaged.
Because Chiang
Mai fire brigade acted very quick the fire damage
is limited only in a small shop further down the
street.
Therefore you could'nt contact us at our usual telephone number.
The cables are repaired and you can reache us again
on our normal number.

New: Laptop for rent
You can rent a laptop (Asus EEE) for using in
your room to go on internet or use your mail. It costs 60
Bath per hour. The interesting price for one day is 4 hours
at the most |

Website Awanahouse renewed.
The website got a facelift. The new website
gives you a more detailed impression of our pleasantly
guesthouse. Widescreen users can visit the website without

In may and june 2008 all rooms got a real
Thai styled furnish. Also the restaurant and the swimming
pool got a fit up in Thai style |

For Awanahouse it is
important that the Dutch (European) accent continues in the
guesthouse, one of the wishes of meanwhile deceased Jan van
Delft.

Dutchman, is the new supervisor and host since july 2007.

Awanahouse mentioned in the national newspaper of the
Netherlands. The article recommends the cooking course that
Awanahouse organizes for its guests. In a one day trip, one
learns to cook different Thai meals in a typical Thai
environment, outside of town, in the rural country.
